Known as the lady of the streams, Grayling are one of the classic fly fishing species. Their distinctive dorsal fin, gorgeous colour, nimble and powerful take make them a prized catch while fly fishing.

Grayling are incredibly reliant on pristine cold freshwater (like the rivers and streams on our BC fly in fishing trips). Grayling were once abundant across europe and north america, the grayling is now a hard to find species in both continents.

Fortunatly Arctic Grayling are absolutely abundant in the Northern Rockies, here Grayling are plentiful indeed, you can fish for Grayling in almost all streams and rivers in the Northern Rockies! Easily making the Northern Rockies the best Grayling fishing in Canada. Many Arctic Grayling hotspots are known to our chief guide Urs. An Absolute joy to catch, Arctic Grayling punch well above there weight, between 2-5 lbs, Grayling they’re nimble and quick. These colourful fighters are found in many of our remote BC fly in fishing destinations.

You will also find Arctic Grayling at all three of our Outpost Cabins. Fishing the streams at Frog River are a scenic pleasure in the bottom of a deep mountain valley. Netson Lake has a stream right in front of the cabin, and an endless supply of catch and release grayling fishing awaits. Be careful, you might just catch a submarine sized laker or bull in the same spot!
